Came into existence on the 6th of september, 1996. The schools were situated at 2 Prince Michael Oharisi Street, Otovwodo- Ughelli. At the time, Victory Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools were opened in 1996, the initial concept was unclear to almost everybody except my Late friend Mr. M. O. Ugavah. i did not see the venture as imperative. i saw the establishment of a school as a charitable organisation for the very rich who want to assist in the upliftment of their domains. i was wondering on what fees to charge in order to cover exorbitant rents for the physical infrastructural facilities needed, the workers remunerations and overhead costs before the margins if any.
However, i was also challenged by the explosive population of pupils and students in ughelli metropolis. pupils and students suffered in the public schools. Pupils and students were compelled to move seats to and fro schools. My aim of establishing the school is to partner with the government in order to provide a conducive environment that will foster a sound and qualitative education for pupils and students in Nigeria.
The reaction of the public towards the establishment of private school at initial stage was almost negative. The patronage from members of the public was very low as at that time, with the full appreciation of my status as a classroom teacher with the public school, where would the resources to establish a standard school come from? Yet my late friend pressed on. He had the vision that must be realized. Thanks to the managers of the Reformers MPCS LTD.l Ughelli at the time, I was able to raise loans with which the school was established.
At this juncture, i wish to register my appreciation to Rev. Agbor Neboragho for the role he played in encouraging the school at the earlier stage. He encourage members of his church to patronize the school. Furthermore, he brought his son master Agbor Goodluck to be the first or pioneer student to register in the secondary. without mincing words, his son is a sound graduate of microbiology from Unizik. He is a father to the school. He gave me his fatherly advice. Above all, he guided the school to grow spiritually, physically and otherwise. May God in his infinite mercy continue to shower his blessings upon him and his family in Jesus name.
I must not also fail to appreciate Rev. (Engr) P.E. Tevwerhe who gave me an apartment in his private residence to use as an office to run my school. He has been very useful to the school finacially. At a time. He donated a gigantic trophy. He personally withdraw his children from other schools to boost the ego of my school, his name has been immortalized as a patron of a house - Rev Peter Ekiruo Tevwerhe house. God will continue to bless him and his family in Jesus name.
There were many persons that impacted on me either directly or indirectly, during the formative and building process of the school to all of them, i am very grateful and i wish them God's abundant blessings in Jesus name, Amen.
In the year 200, i got government approval for the three schools and also had a approval for the students to take Junior schools certificate examination. In the year 2003, the school was accredited by WACE and in the year 2004, the school was accredited by NECO respectively and since then the school has been enrolling candidates every year.
In the year 2009, the secondary school was relocated to No2 Prince Anthony Oharisi Avenue, Off Okogbe Road, Otovwodo-Ughelli which is her permanent site. By his grace the nursery and primary section as join the secondary section in the permanent site.
Our mission now is to assemble the best resources, reward the staff to be able to provide quality and functional education for all our clients at all times. There is no doubt in my mind that the school would he taken to grater heights vis-a-vis expansion and structural diversification to a higher degree. That i have gone this far is by the grace of God and to him i ascribe all my achievements so far and i pray He should continue to guide me in every decision I make so as to take the school to a new level in Jesus name. Amen.
